IMPROVEMENT GUIDELINES OF AGING POPULATION DATABASE WANGMAN SUBDISTRICT, WAT SING DISTRICT, CHAINAT PROVINCE

The objective of this research was to survey and use the data obtained from the survey to analyze and make recommendations as a guideline in formulating a plan to improve the quality of life of the elderly responsible agency. The research was conducted under the concept of Participatory Action Research (PAR), including: a questionnaire, an interview, focus group discussion, congregation forums, and brainstorming for making a plan to improve the quality of life of the aging by collecting data from 88 persons who live in 8 villages of Wang Man Subdistrict, Wat Sing District, Chainat Province. The qualitative data was analyzed with SWOT analysis, and the quantitative data was analyzed with frequency and percentage.
The results of this research found that: the systems and mechanisms to drive activities for the aging population should be created and connected between the provincial committee’s departments within the province and the area and the aging population in the area. In addition, there should be proactive measures to take care of the aging population health care in dependent areas to fully support the entry into an aging society. Including health promotion guidelines for people before the elderly and when entering the old age of the aging population in the area.
