Abstract

            The purposes of this research were to develop the learning outcomes of Mathayomsuksa 4 students on ballroom dance in Physical Education Subject of Health and Physical Education Learning Group using the active learning concept in the following issues: 1) to compare academic achievement before and after learning, 2) to compare dance ability before and after learning, 3) to compare physical fitness before and after learning and 4) To study the satisfaction of Mathayomsuksa 4 students who study with the concept of active learning on ballroom dance. The samples were 40 Mathayomsuksa 4 students of Narinukun School studying in the second semester of the academic year 2023 who were selected by a cluster random sampling method. The research instruments were 1) 12 ballroom dance learning plans, 2) ballroom dance achievement test, 3) ballroom dancing test and assessment,
4) physical fitness test and 5) students’ satisfaction assessment form. Data were analyzed by percentage, mean, standard deviation and t-test dependent samples.

            The research findings were as follows:

  1. The academic achievement of Mathayomsuksa 4 students after using the active learning concept in learning ballroom dancing after studying was significantly higher than that of before  studying at the .01 level.
  2. The dancing ability of Mathayomsuksa 4 students who study with the concept Active learning about ballroom dancing after studying was significantly higher than before studying at the .01 level.
  3. Physical fitness of Mathayomsuksa 4 students learning with the concept Active learning about ballroom dancing after studying was significantly higher than before studying at the .01 level.
  4. Mathayomsuksa 4 students learning according to the concept Active learning about ballroom dancing found that students were overall satisfied at the highest level
