OPINIONS OF LEARNERS TO LEARNING MANAGEMENT BY USING MIND MAPPING PROGRAM IN COMPETENCY DEVELOPMENT COURSE

The objective of this study is develop students' learning ability by using mind mapping program in competency development course in order to compare students' learning development in using mind mapping program in competency development course.
Population in this research consisted of 78 students enrolled in competency development course in the second semester of academic year 2015 in classes A1 and B1 in Bachelor of Business Administration Program, Faculty of Management. Sample group in this study are students enrolled in competency development course in the second semester of academic year 2015. The sample group, which consisted of 39 people, were chosen by systematic random sampling. The tools adopted in the study were questionnaires and mind mapping program.
Statistics used in this study were percentage, average score, standard deviation, statistics used to test the reliability of the questionnaire by using Cronbach's alpha coefficient formula.The statistics used hypothesis and t-test to test the difference between average values of the 2 groups, one-way ANOVA for comparison of differences between average values of the sample groups.
The overall score for learning management by using mind mapping to develop systematic thinking ability of students in the competency development course are highly satisfaction. When considering each aspect, it was found that, utilization of the program has the highest scores with high level of satisfaction ( = 3.97, S.D. = 0.36); followed by, creativity with high level of satisfaction (
= 3.97, S.D. = 0.37) and the ability to make mind mapping, which has high level of satisfaction (
= 3.89, S.D. = 0.39), has the lowest score.
Hypothesis testing found that gender has indifferent learning development process and ability to use mind mapping program. The probability (p.) is equal to 0.47 Students with different study grade have similar learning development to use mind mapping program in competency development course.
