The Result of Using a Basic Unit Leader Training Course Model for Senior Scout Leaders to Enhance Senior Scout Leader Competencies in the 21st Century.

ABSTRACT
The aims of this research were to 1) study the results of using a Basic Unit Leader Training Course Model for Senior Scout Leaders to Enhance Senior Scout Leader Competencies in the 21st Century and 2) study the satisfaction of a Basic Unit Leader Training Course Model for Senior Scout Leaders to Enhance Senior Scout Leader Competencies in the 21st Century toward the training course model. The sample consisted of 83 interested participants derived through the purposive sampling method. The research instruments were an evaluation form of appropriateness and feasibility of the training course model, a competency test paper on knowledge of senior scout leaders and an observation test form on skills and personal attributes on competencies of senior scout leaders and a satisfaction evaluation form toward the training course model.The data were analyzed by mean, standard deviation(S.D.), and test of a statistical hypothesis (independent t-test).The results showed that 1) the result of competency assessment of the participants after using the Basic Unit Leader Training Course Model for Senior Scout Leader to Enhance Senior Scout Leaders Competencies in the 21st Century was at a high level in every competency and 2) the participants had satisfaction on the training course model at a high level.
