THE DEVELOPMENT OF ORGANIZATIONAL HEALTH INDICATORS OF SCHOOL UNDER PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE

Abstract

          The objective of this research were to:1) develop the organizational health indicators of school, 2) examine the validation of organizational health indicators of school under primary educational service area office. The operation consisted of two steps: Step 1: develop the organization health indicators of the school under the office of primary education service area office by study the concept, theory, textbooks and research papers, interviews experts and focus group discussion of 9 experts. Step 2: examine the validation of organizational health indicators of school under primary educational service area office. The sample consisted of 1,060 administrators of school under primary educational service area office by multistage random sampling. The research instrument is a five-point rating scale questionnaire with the reliability at 0.97. The data were analyzed by using a confirmatory factor analysis.
          The results were as follows:
          1. The organizational health indicators of school under primary educational service area office, there are 7 components; 53 indicators, which were: 1) Leadership team building; 7 indicators 2) Establishing organizational clarity; 8 indicators. 3) Organizational communication clarity; 9 indicators. 4) Organizational strengthening; 7 indicators. 5) Organization environment; 6 indicators. 6) Organizational success; 9 indicators. Focus on academic; 7 indicators.
          2. Analysis result of element and examination of the validation of organizational health indicators of school under primary educational service area office was found model is consistent with the empirical data and statistics is RMSEA = 0.066, RMR = 0.0038, NFI=0.97, CFI = 0.98 and CN = 228.51.
