LEARNING MANAGEMENT FOR LD CHILDREN IN REGULAR SCHOOLS

Abstract

     Learning Disabilities means a disorder or developmental lagging in one or more of the psychological process involve in comprehension or use of language in reading, speaking, writing, numeracy and mathematics. The causes of LD children are heredity, environment and traumatic brain injury preventing the brain from functioning properly, thus impairing the perception, interpretation and processing of received information. As a result, children have lower learning outcomes than their actual potential and various problems arise, including movement, lack of concentration, short attention span building relationships with others is not good. Behavior that is harassing to others have emotional problems lack of organization Lack of knowledge and skills in various matters, etc.

But teachers should add teaching on issues such as step-by-step planning, learning strategic. Use media and devices that undergo multiple exposures and the use of multisensory approach throuh visual, auditory, motor training and eye-hand coordination training. Training on grouping things, classification seriality and organnzing,use simple and clear instructions, etc. In addition, teachers, parents and professionals must work together to develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) and Individualized Implementation Plan (IIP) in order to help the students to fulfill their potentiality.
