THE DEVELOPMENT OF INDICATORS OF ACADEMIC MANAGEMENT SKILLS IN THE 21ST CENTURY OF SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS THE OFFICE OF BASIC EDUCATION COMMISSION

The objectives of this research were to: 1) develop the indicators of academic management skills in the 21st century of school administrators and, 2) examine the validation of indicators of academic management skills in the 21st century of school administrators the Office of Basic Education Commission with empirical data. The operation consisted of two steps: Step 1: develop the indicators of academic management skills in the 21st century of school administrators by study the concept and theory from textbooks and research papers and interviews 9 experts. The research instrument used was record forms and semi-structured Interview. The data were analyzed by using content analysis. Step 2: examine the validation of indicators of academic management skills in the 21st century of school administrators the Office of Basic Education Commission. The sample size consisted of 500 administrators of school under secondary educational service area office by multistage random sampling. The research instrument is a five-point rating scale questionnaire with content validity from 0.80-1.00 and the reliability at 0.89. The data were analyzed by using a confirmatory factor analysis.
The results were as follows:
1. The indicators of academic management skills in the 21st century of school administrators, there are 5 components; 40 indicators, which were: 1) Thinking, analytical and creative skills ; 7 indicators 2) Human relations skills ; 7 indicators. 3) Management skills ; 9 indicators. 4) Technology skills and digital use ; 9 indicators. and 5) Communication skills ; 8 indicators.
2. Analysis result of element and examination of the validation of indicators of academic management skills in the 21st century of school administrators was found model is consistent with the empirical data and statistics is Chi-square = 682.87, df = 632, p = .079, GFI = .940, AGFI = .920 and RMSEA = .013.
