Abstract

The main objectives of this research were to examine, to analyze factors, and to present appropriate approaches for managing the effective administration of sufficiency schools of The Regional Education Office No.2, Ministry of Education. Data from a set of 878 0f all 919 questionnaires were selected from administrators, basic education commission committees, and teachers. The following statistics were employed: frequency, percentage, means, standard deviation, one-sample t-test, and factor analysis. Research findings were found that: 1) A whole of sufficiency school management and overall management in terms of management aspect and sufficiency economy aspect were at high level when comparing with the established criteria at the .05 level of significance; 2) There were 10 components and 37 issues as crucial variables of the sufficiency school management, could explain the variance at 71.67 percent; and 3) Eight appropriate approaches were found for developing the effective sufficiency schools that associated with the sufficiency economy philosophy as follows: (1) Moderation aspect, 2 approaches were created: supervision and following up the management of sufficiency schools, and resource management with the sufficiency economy philosophy; (2) Reasonableness aspect, 2 approaches were created: personnel development of schools in terms of making learning plans with the sufficiency economy philosophy, and encouraging all stakeholders participants in the ways of sufficiency economy philosophy; (3) Self-immunity aspect, 1 approach was created: developing teamwork; (4) Knowledgeable conditions aspect, 1 approach was created: improve the students’ skills in living their life with self- sufficiency way; and (5) Moral conditions aspect, 2 approaches were created: enhancement of ethics, morality of personnel according the sufficiency economic philosophy, and developing the learners’ morality and ethics base on the sufficiency economic philosophy.
