Abstract

In this mixed methods research investigation in which the researcher analyzes both quantitative and qualitative data, the objective is to study digital information seeking and searching behavior of graduate students of faculty of law, Ramkhamhaeng University. In the quantitative phase of research, the researcher collected a sample population of 140 graduate students under examination. Insofar as concerns the qualitative phase of research, the researcher conducted in-depth interviews with 24 graduate students and lecturers of faculty of law, Ramkhamhaeng University. The data collected from the interviewees were categorized and subsequently descriptively presented. The study found that the graduate students use digital information overall and each aspect at a high level including working and preparing to employment assessment, doing thesis and independent study, self-studying and following situation respectively. Graduate students and lecturer use internet search engine, almost always Google to gain an overview of the area. Generally, keywords are entered by the users into a search engine to find information on the web and online library catalog.
