A DEVELOPMENT OF SELF COACHING ON CONTEMPLATIVE EDUCATION TRAINING PROGRAM FOR INSTRUCTIONAL CHANG OF STUDENTS INTERN ON TEACHING PROFESSION

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to develop and study effect of Self Coaching on Contemplative education training Program. The sample, chosen by cluster random sampling, consisted of 34 students during the second semester of the academic year 2017. The research instruments were: 1) a self coaching on contemplative  education  training  program 2) a questionnaire for students 3) an interview form for participants 4) instruction skill test 5) a Self- transformation report 6) guidelines for after action review. Data were analyzed in tern of frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and content analysis. Findings revealed that


  1. The components program had rationale, objectives, and program management and training phases. The training activities focused on contemplation, coaching lesson plan designs and teach in school for three months, during the training, they had opportunities to consult their trainers.

  2. The program implementation revealed that: 1) The instruction skill of students after the training program was significantly higher than that before the training (P<.01); 2) Their transformation had teaching and self-development 3) The learner had interest, happy and fast learning.  4) The student thought the program could be used for job and daily life.
