THE IMPACT OF A TOXIC WASTE DISPOSAL PLANT ON A COMMUNITY IN HUAI JOT SUBDISTRICT, WATTHANA NAKHON DISTRICT, SA KAEO PROVINCE

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to study the effects of toxic waste disposal plants 2) to compare the effects of toxic waste disposal plants Professional West Technology (1999) Public Company Limited to Ban Nong Pa Mak Community Classified by personal factors.The sample population of 166 persons and the tool used of this research was a questionnaire. The data analysis was conducted by the means of the computer software to find the rates of Percentage, Mean. and One-way ANOVA for testing the difference of mean from more than 2 groups and if found to be statistically significant, the L.S.D method for pairwise difference was tested. The results showed that the effects of toxic waste disposal plants have a high impact when considering each aspect It was found that the aspect that had the greatest impact on coexistence was at the first level. The environment, followed by health. The aspect that affects coexistence at a high level is the environmental aspect was followed by health. The aspect that had an impact on coexistence at a high level was the economic aspect, the sharp aspect, and the psychological aspect. Toxic waste disposal factories classified by personal factors found that people living in Ban Nong Pa Mak community with sex Education level, occupation, monthly income, and length of stay in the community Effects on coexistence between Ban Nong Pa Mak Community and Toxic Waste Disposal Plant No difference and people in Ban Nong Pa Mak community were of different ages. The impact from the toxic waste disposal plant was significantly different at the .05 level.
