Effectiveness of Behavioral Modification for Critical Heterosexual Relationships Behavior among Early Adolescence

The aim of this study was to examine the effectiveness of behavioral modification program on critical heterosexual relationships behavior among early adolescences. The sample consisted of 40 seventh-grader students. Twenty students were assigned to the experimental group and eighteen students were assigned to the control group. The experimental group participated in behavioral modification program based on Social Cognitive Theory. The activities created based on the concept and conditions of critical heterosexual relationships: attitude development by seeing role model, positive communication, and self-regulation effect to critical heterosexual relationships behavior while those in control group did not. The data was collected by utilizing the 5 items critical heterosexual relationships behavior tools has reliable quality by Item discrimination .13 -.80, cronbach’s alpha coefficient 0.59. Data were analyzed by ANCOVA. The results revealed that students who participated in behavioral modification program for critical heterosexual relationships behavior had been critical heterosexual relationships behavior with statistical significance of 0.05 Thus, the individual or organization who would use the finding need to take into consideration about Thai reading and writing skills of the groups.
