Development of Educational Institution Managerial Model in Accordance with Education Ecosystem Management Framework to Promote Academic Excellence for Students in Kaeng-Ton School under Ubonratchathani Primary Education District Office District 5

Abstract

The purpose of this study, Development of Educational Institution Managerial Model in Accordance with Education Ecosystem Management Framework to Promote Academic Excellence for Students in Kaeng-Ton School, are 1) study primary data, 2) development of managerial model, 3) pilot managerial model, 4) assess managerial model. This study has 4 phases. Phase 1, review primary data collected from teachers, parents, educational institution committee (n = 120), and experts (n = 5). Phase 2, develop managerial model based on data collected from experts (n = 9). Phase 3, pilot managerial model with teachers (n = 11). Phase 4, assess managerial model based on data collected from teachers, parents, educational institution committee (n = 120), and students (n = 100). Research instruments include 1) document analysis Form, 2) questionnaire, 3) interview form, 4) test form, and 5) assessment form. Data analyses include qualitative analysis, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, Z-test, relative gain score, Priority Needs Index (PNI). The research results as follows: 1) At the current state, the level of practice is moderate. Expected state is the highest level of practice. Need ranking in descending order: collaboration network aspect, technology application aspect, and education management aspect. 2) Managerial model development outcomes have 6 components as follows: 1) principle, 2) purpose, 3) content, 4) operation, 5) assessment, and 6) success conditions, managerial model, and manual for using optimal model at the highest level. 3) Result from the pilot test indicate: 1) teacher’s knowledge and comprehension assessment result post-development is higher than pre-development at a significant level of .01; 2) results of development operations according to the model has the highest level of practice.  4) Result of model assessment indicates: 1) NT results have increased 14.56% between 2022 and 2023; 2) O-Net result increased 9.01% between 2022 and 2023, when compared to between 2019 and 2023 increased every year; 3) feasibility and usefulness assessment results were at the highest level; 4) the satisfaction assessment results of those involved and students were at the highest level.
