The Development of Training courses to Promote Online media literacy among High school students

Abstract
The purposes of this research were to 1) develop training courses to promote online media awareness among high school students and 2) study the effectiveness of training courses to promote online media awareness among high school students. Participants were selected using a simple random sampling method with a total of 20 students from the 4/2 class studying at Tessabal 2 Wattaninarasamosorn School during the 2022 school year. Research tools were the Development of Training courses to Promote Online media awareness among High school students and online media awareness pretest and posttest training test. Statistical analyses were average, standard deviation, and t-test with paired sample test and one sample test. Results of the research demonstrated that 1) the training course was divided into 4 activities, including 1. Know me, know you, know online media 2. Mindful consideration of the media 3. Please use me to good use, and 4. Survive in online media. Each activity took 1.5 hour with a total of six hours. 2) Students participating in a training course to promote online media awareness among high school students revealed an overall average online media awareness score before the training was higher than the after attending the training with statistically significant at the .05. Comparing with the standard criteria showed that the after-training score was higher than 70% set with a statistical significance at the .05.
