Abstract

ABSTRCT


            The objective of this research was to study competency for music teachers’ active learning management who graduated from Rajabhat University. The target group was 200 music teachers. The research instrument was questionnaires on competency for music teachers’ active learning in Buriram Province who graduated from Rajabhat University. The statistics was used in the research was percentage, mean and standard deviation.


            The findings revealed that 1) Most of the respondents were 117 male people, representing 58.50 percent, were 83 female people, representing 41.50 percent, while most of the work experience was 5 – 10 years for 100 people, accounted for 50.00 percent. They were less than                 5 years for 62 people, accounted for 31.00 percent and more than 10 years for 38 people, accounted for 19.00 percent. 2) The results of competency for music teachers’ active learning management in Buriram Province who graduated from Rajabhat University generally at a moderate level (  = 3.21, S.D. = 1.26) after considering each aspect, it was found that the aspect with the highest average was the creating environment and stimulating curiosity (  = 3.59, S.D. = 0.89), followed by the conclusion of learning outcomes and creating a body of knowledge (  = 3.46, S.D. = 1.21) and the aspect with the lowest average was knowledge extension to innovation


(  = 2.58, S.D. = 1.09).
