Creating a Drum set Teaching System with Active Learning Management: Experts and Facilitators

Abstract

Drum set practice teaching is a proactive teaching of musical instruments that still lacks teaching experts in many areas. It is an important form that helps students learn and is a form of teaching that can effectively develop students. This academic article is based on data collection from teaching management at the secondary and higher education levels. The purpose of this article is to synthesize information and present it to be useful for those who are interested in changing the format of the drum teaching process. The main points of this article include experts, active learning teaching, and facilitators as follows:           First: Experts or teachers act as an important component for the learner. Teaching and learning drum sets as a practical science of specific skills consists of 1) Concept and main elements of the teacher 2) Content and main components;  Second: Active Learning is a teaching style and method that emphasizes the learner's full participation in the learning process by stimulating the learner to think, analyze and apply. It consists of measurement and evaluation of progress and active drum practice learning activities; Finally: Facilitators promote self-learning, create an open learning environment, and stimulate analytical thinking and critical thinking, including the characteristics and roles of facilitators and the obstacles of facilitators.
