Guidelines for Developing Student Support Systems in Schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office, Phetchaburi Province

Abstract
This study aimed to (1) examine the level of implementation of student support systems in schools in Phetchaburi Province, (2) compare the implementation results of student support systems based on school size and personnel roles, and (3) explore guidelines for developing student support systems. The sample group consisted of 331 school administrators and teachers, selected through stratified and simple random sampling. The research instrument was a five-point Likert scale questionnaire with a reliability coefficient of 0.99. Data were analyzed using mean (x̄), standard deviation (S.D.), and F-test. The findings revealed that the overall implementation of student support systems in Phetchaburi schools was at a high level. Small and large schools demonstrated the highest levels of implementation, while medium and extra-large schools exhibited high levels. Additionally, personnel in different positions showed varying approaches in system implementation. The development of student support systems should focus on utilizing technology for student data collection and analysis, strengthening screening, prevention, and referral mechanisms, and providing training for teachers and staff to enhance the effectiveness of student care and support.
