Public Private Collaboration: A Mechanism to Strengthen Social Welfare Security for The Elderly in Thailand - Japan

Abstract

This research article has the objectives to propose guidelines to strengthen social welfare security for the elderly in Thailand through the civil state mechanism. It is qualitative research. using documentary research and field research. collecting field data by in-depth interviews and specific group discussion Focus Group Discussion included 37 persons and analyzed descriptive data. The research results were found that:

Guidelines for enhancing stability in driving social welfare work for the elderly in Thailand with a civil state mechanism. The civil state policy gives more importance to the elderly. as can be seen from the projects that have been sent down to the practice more concrete. Resulting in better quality of life and what has been increased is to promote coexistence in society with love and unity in the community Effects on the body Public health Civil state policies can meet the physical needs of the elderly by adjusting the environment. Toilets provide hygienic and physical fit for the elderly. Economic issues In which management uses financial budgeting issues to cause local circulation With a view to the government policy that has been assigned by the government to put into practice As for the way to enhance the stability of social welfare work for the elderly by the civil state mechanism. it is very necessary to work together with the network partners. including the network of government organizations. Which supervises the policy level Private Enterprise Network Which is responsible for managing the quality of services appropriately. such as elderly care centers. residences and social networks such as community organizations. temples. relatives. and neighbors that are closest to the elderly That may be the first group that can provide assistance to the elderly or those in need effectively.
