Abstract

In this world, humans are considered a kind of social animal because humans are related to each other. Humans are often grouped together, they Build houses and residences, then they have to work as various occupations and join many activities together. This manner is called a community. After humans live together as community, they need to make themselves have a better life and there will be a change of environmental conditions to suit life to provide comfort in living and safety in life which is called quality of life. There are many elements for good quality of life and each element is more or less important differently according to each individual point of view or the viewpoint of the society. Therefore, the quality of life for humans depends on those elements too. The components for quality of life consist of 1) Physical domain which is the physical condition of a person which affects daily life, such as the state of physical integrity, ability to work, etc. 2) Psychological domain which is the perception of one's own mental state, such as the positive and negative feelings that a person for oneself, etc. 3) Social relationships which are their relationships with other people or to receive help and to be a helper to other people in society. 4) Environment which is having a good environment that affects life, they live independently, safe and stable in life. 5) Economy which is the state of the economy, finances and stable income, etc. The quality of life of each individual in each society is different. There are many scholars who have tried to study and research on various factors affecting the improvement for quality of life and there are various approaches for self-improvement towards improving the quality of life. In this article, the author has proposed the idea of Improve the quality of life according to Buddhadhamma principles and social capital only.
