A CAUSAL FACTOR AFFECTING EFFECTIVENESS OF PHRAPARIYATTIDHAMMA SCHOOL

Abstract

Phrapariyattidham Secondary School Department of General Education is conducted using the basic education curriculum B.E. 2551 of the Ministry of Education. There are a total of 8 subject groups as specified by the Ministry of Education. In addition to this, there are also specific subjects that monks and novice monks are required to study according to the Sangha’s policy which are the Pali language and Buddhism. They are the basics studying principles of Buddhism in the Tripitaka scriptures and can be used for spreading Buddhism. The objectives of this research were to study the casual factors affecting the effectiveness of Phrapariyattidham secondary school. This research used quantitative research. The sample were the staff of Phrapariyattidham Secondary School epartment of General Education in Bangkok, 320 samples were obtained using a stratified sampling. Data were collected with questionnaire, analyzed by structural equation modeling. The research finding indicated that Mahayana Buddhist Philosophy had the greatest direct effect on effectiveness of Phrapariyattidham secondary school,  followed by leader personality, executive leadership according to Mahayana Buddhist Philosophy and management respectively, in addition found that  executive leadership according to Mahayana Buddhist Philosophy and Mahayana Buddhist Philosophy had indirect effect on effectiveness of Phrapariyattidham secondary school, respectively. The results from this research of Administrators and personnels of Phrapariyattidham Secondary School Department of General Education, the model can be applied to develop leadership and personnel for various groups of personnel. Under the Phrapariyattidham Secondary School Department of General Education in the country and resulted in the achievement of monks and novices as religious heirs who inherited Buddhism.
