THE MANAGEMENT OF SUNDAY BUDDHIST STUDIES CENTER IN PRACHINBURI PROVINCE

Abstract

The main objectives of this research were 1) to study the problems in the management of Sunday Buddhist Studies Center; 2) to study the means for promoting the management of Sunday Buddhist Studies Center in Prachinburi Province; and 3) to suggest guidelines for the management of Sunday Buddhist Studies Center in Prachinburi Province. It was mixed methods research being conducted in this study. For the quantitative research, the questionnaire was used for the sample group of 274 students at Sunday Buddhist Studies Center in Prachinburi Province. Data were analyzed by using basic statistics such as frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. For qualitative research, interviews being conducted with 6 administrators and teachers. Data were analyzed by content analysis technique.

The results of the study were found that:

1. The overall problems in the management of Sunday Buddhist Studies Center were noted at a high level. When considering each aspect, it was found that it was at a high level in all 5 areas, namely, academic, personnel management, budget, and general administration and learning area.
2. Means for promoting management of Sunday Buddhist Studies Center in Prachinburi Province revealed that all personnel have shared responsibility for producing quality products, considering efficiency, effectiveness, and economy. Personnel and service recipients are satisfied, develop their potential, become more accepted by the society at the international level, encouraging educational institutions to be able to work in response to the mission of the academy formulate human resource development strategies that focuses on human resource management and evaluation system to strengthen the core competencies of personnel. The management is flexible, transparent, and can be always audited. with promotion and to protect school personnel. The most effective method of learning education in the 21^st century must create an atmosphere and learning, or education can happen anywhere, anytime by focusing on learning outcomes that occur to students as much as possible.
3. The proposed guidelines for the management of Sunday Buddhist Studies Center in Prachinburi Province revealed that educational quality assurance is provided. There is a management of information systems and academic information. There is an administration to operate on teaching and learning. Evaluation must be performed in a transparent and fair manner. The personnel who commit serious disciplinary offenses should be punished. Personnel are properly assigned to work encouraging educational institutions to be able to work in response to the mission of the academy and to encourage teachers to maintain instructional materials for ease of use in epidemic situations. To encourage teachers to see the importance and benefits of using online teaching materials. Training on the use of online teaching materials in the epidemic situation. There should take proper care of the facility and its surroundings, provide documentation. Performance reports are continually reported. There is publicity for educational work, providing services to personnel of Sunday Buddhist Studies Center at all levels.
