MODEL FOR ACTIVITIES TO ENHANCE GOOD CITIZENSHIP IN PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS IN UTHAI THANI PROVINCE

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to study the situation of good citizenship among primary school students in Uthai Thani Province. and presenting activities to promote good citizenship for elementary school students in Uthai Thani Province. The research methodology is a mixed method (Mix Methods) is a quantitative research. by distributing the sample questionnaire who were 400 students in grades 4-6. Data were analyzed using statistics, percentage, mean, standard deviation and qualitative research using in-depth interviews with 12 key informants or people with a structured interview form and data analysis by content analysis. 

             The results found that 1) The overall circumnstances of good citizenship of primary school students in Uthai Thani Province exist in high level. Classifying those circumstances into  different aspects, it reveals that the highest average is being honest where second to honesty is being respectful, public-spirited, and obseving ones' good discipline, respectively.2) Model For Activities To Enhance Good Citizenship In Primary School Students In Uthai Thani Province, it revealed that there should consist of 5 components i.e., 1) Principle, 2 Objectives, 3) Good awareness 4) Process of organizing the activities that consists of, Step No.1; Good Workshop, Step No. 2; Good Project, Step No. 3; Good Evaluation, Step No. 4; Good Celebration, 5) Conditions of success.
