Abstract

The study “Enhancing the development of Children with Autism through learning about dance: needs and expectations of parents” The objectives of this study were to study the needs and expectations of parents of children with autism towards learning dance in order to promote learning development in children with autism. The issue of needs and expectations to promote learning development in children with autism. The study population was a group of parents of children with autism aged 5-12 years in a special education center. and special education services in Bangkok area.

                The results of the research revealed that personal information such as gender, age, marital status, information about children education level career and income opinions and experiences and understanding of autism treatment It is related to the needs and expectations of learning dance. To promote learning development in children with autism.  It was found that the sample group had opinions on the needs and expectations of the dance learning management to promote learning development among children with autism. Overall, it was in the “high” level, with an average of 53.7% and 62.5 percent, respectively.
