Opinions and guidelines for community capital development towards readiness to the International Elderly Community in Chiang Rai Province

Abstract

The article aims to 1) studies opinions on the preparation for the elderly community. 2) studies local community Capital, 3) studies the guidelines for community capital development towards the preparation of international Elderly communities in Chiang Rai Province. Study in 400 sample and key informants including the leaders in the area of ​​Mae Sai District, Mae Chan District, Chiang Saen District, and Chiang Khong districts. The public opinion towards the readiness to enter the international old age community in Chiang Rai province as a whole was at a level of 4.84 points (SD 0.70). The results of the community scholarship study found that most expressed their opinions towards community grants on physical aspects. There is an environment that facilitates the living of the elderly. and suitable for being an international old age community including commenting on community capital in terms of socio-cultural, found that all 4 areas. that language and cultural diversity as well as the environment of the area that facilitates the living of the elderly. Development of community capital for entering the international old age community in Chiang Rai Province Able to apply the approach to using community capital to strengthen the community before preparing for people of all ages to join “Strong Community” to be a livable community for the elderly.
