ROLES AND PROCESS OF CREATIVE TEMPLES DEVELOPMENT OF SANGHA, NON SANG DISTRICT, NONG BUA LAMPHU PROVINCE

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to study the role and process of creative temple development of the Sanha in Non Sang District, Nong Bua Lamphu Province, 2) to study the factor affecting the development of temples of the factors affecting the development of temples of the Sangha in Non Sang District, Nong Bua Lamphu Province, and 3) to strengthen the network of creative temple development of the Sangha in Non Sang District, Nong Bua Lamphu Province. This research is mixed method research using quantitative research  and qualitative research to supplement and to comply with the research objectives.

             The results of the research found that

1. Regarding demographic characteristics of the respondents, most of the respondents were aged 51 years and over, numbering 82 people, representing 29.8 percent, having 1-10 years of ordination, 169 people, representing 61.5 percent. Most had a general education in secondary education, 129 people, representing 46.9 percent. Qualifications in ethics at the level of the rank of 115 people, representing 41.8 percent. Most of them do not have religioius qualifications of 214 people, representing 77.8 percent, most have other positions, namely secretary, treasurer and monks, 237 people, representing 86.2 percent, and having experience in performing their duties less than 5 years, 150 people representing 54.5 percent.
2. The respondents had their opinions on the role and process of the creative temple development of the monks in Non Sang District, Nong Bua Lamphu Province. Overall, it is at a high level. with an average of 3.55. When considering each aspect, it was found that it was noted at a high level in 4 areas and at a moderate level in 2 areas, respectively, as follows: 1) public utilities with an average of 3.86, 2) administration with an average of 3.67, 3) public welfare with an average of 3.61, 4) religious education with an average of 3.55, 5) dissemination with an average of 3.38 and 6) the aspect with the lowest mean was education welfare with an average of 3.24, respectively.
3. The results of the hypotheses testing comparing opinions about the role and process of developing creative temples of monks in Nonsang district, Nongbualamphu province. It can be concluded that opinions about the role and process of creative temple development of monks in Nonsang district, Nongbualamphu province, age difference which accepted the hypothesis. As for the Buddhist Lent Education moral education educational qualification, ethics, position, and experience in the performance of duties there is no difference which negates the premise.
