BUSINESS POTENTIAL ESCALATION MODEL OF AYUTTHAYASINEA BASKET COMMUNITY ENTERPRISES, BY MCU KOBJAO VOLUNTEER TEAM, AOMSINYUWAPHATRAKTIN PROJECT,PHRA NAKHON SRIAYUTTHAYA PROVINCE, REGION 14

Abstract

Research on the business potential (BP) enhancement model of Ayutthayasinee Basket Community Enterprise (ABCE), Aomsinyuwaphatraktin Project (AOSyprt), Phranakhon Sriayutthaya Province, Region 14; has 4 objectives: 1) to study the business operation according to the assessment criteria of the Giessen-Amsterdam business success model (GSADm), and the assessment criteria for the ABCE project; before (2018) and after (2019) developed by MCU KobJao Volunteer Team (MCUkvt), AOSyprt. 2) to study the model and process of improving the potential of ABCE by MCUkvt in 5 aspects: 1. Business Management 2.Production/ labor and raw material procurement 3. Product processing and Design packaging 4. Marketing and distribution channels 5. Business Accounting. 3) to study the participation of network organizations in enhancing the potential of the ABCE with MCUkvt. 4) Propose the body of knowledge and the model to enhance the potential of the ABCE to stakeholders and relevant agencies. By using in-depth interviews with 21 key informants from 3 groups: MCUkvt, ABCE, and network organizations.

The results showed that the business conditions of the ABCE after the development by MCUkvt were at a higher/better level than the pre-development period in both assessment criteria. PKBAE is the model of enhancing the potential of the ABCE, it is a 4-step process: 1) Planning 2) Knowledge & Buddhism 3) Action 4) Evaluation. For the network organizations, The DIBE model is used to participate in enhancing business potential; 1.Decision Making 2.Implementation 3.Benefits and 4.Evaluation. Research results are presented at the closing ceremony of the AOSyprt in 2019 and through the online media of ABCE, Aomsin Government Savings Bank, and MCU. In addition, there was a follow-up effect on the utilization of the research findings. ABCE also brings knowledge, the learned patterns and processes that have been used to operate the enterprise continuously, whether during the COVID-19 epidemic for almost 3 years (2020-2022) or the flooding that flooded their area for almost 3 months (Aug-Oct. 2022). The community can generate income satisfactorily, and Dharma helps to have consciousness and encouragement in continuing to run the enterprise.
