POLICY AGENDA SETTING AND MULTIPLE STEAM OF GENDER EQUALITY

Abstract
This academic article aims to explain the process of entering the public policy agenda setting and multiple steam of gender equality. Considered a process of shaping public policy along with analysis in the policy formulation process. The model of John W. Kingdon’s Multiple Steams Model has regularly been selected. Concluded that applying the Multiple Streams Model including problem stream, political steam and policy steam are the policy agenda primaries requires analysis on “Societal Predisposition” and roles of “Policy Entrepreneurs”. In the order to open the policy window and reach decision agenda. This means that there are many social trends emerging in the issue of gender equality that are entering the policy agenda. That must be approved by all sectors in order to push for public policy. which will promote gender equality and create equality with the legitimate rights of the word "Humanity"
