SITUATIONS PROBLEM AND GUIDELINES FOR HEALTH EDUCATION LEARNING MANAGEMENT BY APPLING LOVE MODEL WITH SELF-REGULATION CONCEPT TO ENHANEL HEALTH CARE BEHAVIORS AND CRITICAL THINKING OF GRADE 5 STUDENTS

Abstract
The purpose of this research was to investigate problems and guidelines for health education learning management using the LOVE model and self-regulation theory to enhance health care behaviors among elementary school students. This was a mixed method research study that collected data from teachers of health education at the upper primary level. The study involved 10 teachers from 2 schools and 125 students in Grade 5 from 5 schools under the Office of the Private Education Commission. The researcher employed purposive sampling for participant selection. Analysis of data using measures such as mean, standard deviation, and content analysis to summarize implications from in-depth interviews. The results of the study found that the overall condition of health education teaching by teachers was at a much level. When considering each area, it was found that the areas with the most problems in teaching and learning were measurement and evaluation, along with teaching media, followed by teachers' instructional management. The overall condition of teaching and learning regarding health education was found to be at a much level. The current health education teaching lacks diversity in content, practical application to daily life, and relevance to the present era. This includes insufficient teaching time and a lack of media that stimulate students' interest. Therefore, guidelines for organizing health education using the LOVE model, incorporating the concept of self-regulation to promote health care behaviors, should emphasize students' knowledge and understanding, foster positive attitudes, encourage the development of moral values, and facilitate the application of knowledge into practice, resulting in healthy behavior. These guidelines should enable students to apply these skills effectively in their lives.
