CURRENT CONDITION DESIRABLE CONDITIONS AND ASSESS THE NECESSARY NEEDS OF EDUCATION MANAGEMENT IN THE SITUATION OF A NEW WAY OF LIFE FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the current and desirable conditions and to assess the needs for early childhood education management in the New Way of Life. The sample comprised one early childhood education supervisor, 79 school administrators, and 162 early childhood teachers. The sample size was determined using Krejcie and Morgan’s table, and simple random sampling was employed. Questionnaires and assessment tools were utilized as the research instruments, and the data were analyzed using the mean (), standard deviation (S.D.), and the Modified Priority Needs Index (PNI_modified). The findings indicated that the overall current condition of early childhood education management in the New Way of Life was at a moderate level ( = 3.36), whereas the desirable condition was at a high level ( = 4.33).Priority needs were identified in the following areas: the use of media and technology for young children (PNI_modified = 0.300), personal hygiene and health care (PNI_modified = 0.295), environmental and safety management (PNI_modified = 0.198), curriculum and learning management (PNI_modified = 0.197), professional development for early childhood teachers (PNI_modified = 0.190), and collaboration with parents and communities in child care (PNI_modified = 0.186). The study highlights the significance of enhancing the quality of early childhood education management in the New Way of Life, particularly through the integration of appropriate media and technology, the promotion of hygiene and safety, and the fostering of collaborative partnerships across sectors to support sustainable learning and development in early childhood.
