DIGITAL LEADERSHIP MODELS OF INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS IN BANGKOK UNDER OFFICE OF THE PRIVATE EDUCATION COMMISSION

Abstract
This research aimed to 1) Identify the components and indicators of digital leadership of international school administrators in Bangkok, 2) Develop a digital leadership model for international school administrators in Bangkok, and 3) Propose guidelines for developing digital leadership of international school administrators in Bangkok under Office of the Private Education Commission. This study employed a mixed-method research design combining qualitative and quantitative approaches. The sample consisted of 363 administrators and teachers from international schools in Bangkok selected through simple random sampling. The research instruments included semi-structured interviews and a five-point Likert scale questionnaire. The researchers collected the data themselves, in coordination with educational institutions, both online and through documents. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). The results revealed that: 1) The components and indicators of digital leadership among administrators of international schools in Bangkok comprise five components and 136 indicators: 1.1) Digital vision and strategic direction; 1.2) Digital corporate communication; 1.3) Utilization of digital data and innovation in management; 1.4) Building a digital learning culture and network; and 1.5) Fostering collaboration and networking in the digital age. 2) The developed model of digital leadership among administrators of international schools in Bangkok shows a good level of empirical consistency and includes the five key components. 3) The guidelines for developing digital leadership among administrators of international schools in Bangkok are appropriate in terms of usefulness and feasibility. The school’s digital technology vision should be aligned with international education standards, and the school's information system and database should be developed to be accurate and up-to-date.
