LEADERSHIP OF SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS UNDER NAKHON RATCHASIMA PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE OFFICE AREA 7

Abstract
This research aims to 1) Study the level of leadership of school administrators, 2) Compare opinions on leadership of school administrators classified by position, level of education and size of school, and 3) Study the guidelines for developing leadership of school administrators under the Office of the Nakhon Ratchasima Primary Educational Service Area 7. It is a mixed-method research. The sample consisted of 327 school administrators and teachers under the Office of the Basic Education Commission, Nakhon Ratchasima Educational Service Area 7 by stratified random sampling. The data collection tools included questionnaires and structured interviews. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and F-test. The results of the research revealed that 1) The level of leadership of school administrators under the Office of the Basic Education Commission, Nakhon Ratchasima Educational Service Area 7 was at a high level overall and in each aspect. 2) The comparison of leadership of school administrators under the Office of the Basic Education Commission, Nakhon Ratchasima Educational Service Area 7 classified by position and educational level showed no difference overall and classified by school size. Overall, there was a statistically significant difference at the .05 level. and 3) The guidelines for promoting leadership among school administrators under the Nakhon Ratchasima Primary Educational Service Area Office 7 consisted of 7 aspects: 1) Enabling personnel to become leaders; 2) Modeling personnel to be self-leaders; 3) encouraging followers to set their own goals;
4) Creating positive thinking patterns; 5) Facilitating self-leadership; 6) Supporting self-leadership through team building; and 7) Facilitating the creation of a culture of self-leadership.
