THE ANALYSIS OF THAI ELDERLY PENSION POLICY

Thailand is one of the countries facing an aging society, where the government needs to formulate social welfare policies. The important social welfare policy for the elderly is the Elderly Pension Policy. This article aims to present and analyze three parts of Thailand's old age pension policy; policy-making, implementation, and policy evaluation through various models by studying the documents. The results showed that the elderly pension policy is a continuous operation. This policy operates on the basic policy of the state under the constitution. Including the government has taken the feedback from the policy to improve the rules and procedures for implementing the elderly pension policy to be effective and promote fairness as much as possible. Recommendations for the development of the elderly pension policy, There should be a system to promote network partners to participate in the welfare care for the elderly in Thailand.
