The Model of Participation of Local Communities in Promoting Earlychildhood Development of Educational Network Center 12, Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Education Service Area Office 2

Abstract

This article aimed to (1) study the state of participation of local communities in promoting early childhood development; of the Center for Education Network 12 under the Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, and (2) study the participation patterns of local communities in promoting early childhood development. This research is a qualitative research. Data were collected by in-depth interviews from 15 stakeholders, 5 key informants, and 7 expert group discussions. The result of the study found that: to study the condition, the researcher conducted in-depth interviews with those involved in the participation of local communities in promoting early childhood development. of the Center for Education Network 12 consists of 4 steps to study the state of local community participation as follows: 1) Using local community learning resources 2) Jointly formulating the curriculum 3) Being a guest speaker in organizing learning activities, and 4) joining the basic education school committee. The form of participation of local communities in promoting early childhood development of the Center for Education Network 12 uses an operational model for early childhood development through 6 main activities, namely 1) movement and rhythm activities, 2) experience-enhancing activities, 3) creative activities, 4) free activities, 5) outdoor activities, and 6) activities educational game.
