Factors Affect Farmers in Applying Khok Nong Na Model Theory to be applied in Agriculture in the Bang Khae Area Bangkok

Abstract

This qualitative research article aims to (1) study the factors affecting the application of Khok Nong Na model theory to be applied in agriculture in the Bang Khae area, and (2) study ways to encourage farmers to apply the Khok Nong Na Model theory, applied in the Bang Khae area Bangkok. Use in-depth interviews and focus group discussions. Key information providers Informants are people who are directly involved in the project, and lived in the office area of Bang Khae District, 20 people. Analyze and present data by descriptive methods. The result of the study found that factors affecting farmers in applying the Khok Nong Na model theory; to be applied in agriculture in the Bang Khae area Bangkok consists of 2 main factors, namely internal factors consisting of knowledge capital, area capital and nature. Economic capital, social capital and cultural capital and external factors, consisting of the application of the sufficiency economy philosophy into practice; Applying new theories to Khok Nong Na Model and guidelines for encouraging farmers to apply the Khok Nong Na Model theory, applied in the area of Bang Khae, Bangkok, including the development of the Khok Nong Na model as a source of learning in the area Create a contribution to nature, create a career, generate income and be a model for expanding the knowledge to other farmers for a sustainable good quality of life.
