Competence of Administrators and its Impact on the Academic Performance of Schools under the Primary Educational Services Office, Nakhon Pathom Area 2

This article aimed (1) study the level of competence of school administrators under the Primary Educational Services Office, Nakhon Pathom Area 2, (2) study the level of academic performance of schools under the Primary Educational Services Office, Nakhon Pathom Area 2, and (3) study the competence of administrators that influences the academic performance of schools under the Primary Educational Services Office, Nakhon Pathom Area 2. The sample group includes teachers and educational personnel of schools under the Primary Educational Service Office, Nakhon Pathom Area 2, totaling 321 people from a total number of 1,633, calculated using Taro Yamane's formula using stratified random sampling classified by district. The tools used to collect data are questionnaires and academic achievement records. Statistical analysis involved frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson’s correlation, and stepwise multiple regression analysis. The findings are as follows. (1) The level of competence of school administrators under the Primary Educational Services Office, Nakhon Pathom Area 2, is generally high. When examined in detail, the highest average is in strategic management competence, followed by globalization awareness competence, and the lowest is teamwork competence. (2) The overall academic performance of students in schools under the Primary Educational Services Office, Nakhon Pathom Area 2, is at an improving level. When categorized by learning domains, the highest average is in the Thai language learning domain at a satisfactory level, followed by the foreign language (English) learning domain at an improving level, and the mathematics learning domain has the lowest average at an improving level. (3) The analysis of the competence of administrators influencing the academic performance of schools under the Primary Educational Services Office, Nakhon Pathom Area 2, With statistical significance at the 0.05 level.
