Relationship between Academic Leadership Status of Administrators and Internal Supervision within Educational Institutions under the Primary Educational Service Office, Nakhon Pathom Area 2

Abstract

This Article aimed (1) to study the level of academic leadership status of school administrators under the Primary Educational Services Office, Nakhon Pathom Area 2; (2) to study the level of internal supervision within schools under the Primary Educational Services Office, Nakhon Pathom Area 2; and (3) to study the relationship between the academic leadership status of administrators and internal supervision within schools under the Primary Educational Services Office, Nakhon Pathom Area 2. The population used in this research includes teachers and educational personnel of schools under the Nakhon Pathom Primary Educational Service Area Office, Area 2, academic year 2022, totaling 1,633 people.The sample group for this research includes 321 teachers and education personnel of schools under the Primary Educational Services Office, Nakhon Pathom Area 2. This research tool was a questionnaire. Data analyses involved statistical programs, including frequency, percentage, standard deviation, and Pearson Product-Moment Correlation Coefficient. The findings were as follows: The overall level of academic leadership status of administrators under the Primary Educational Services Office, Nakhon Pathom Area 2, is high. When examining individual aspects, the aspects of communication and reflection of behavior towards teachers had the highest average, while the aspect of supporting professional development had the lowest average. The overall level of internal supervision within schools under the Primary Educational Services Office, Nakhon Pathom Area 2, is high, when examining individual aspects, providing alternatives, prioritizing work importance, and planning supervision had the highest average, followed by evaluating supervision outcomes and reporting, while current situation assessment and needs had the lowest average. The relationship between the academic leadership of administrators and internal supervision within schools under the Primary Educational Services Office, Nakhon Pathom Area 2—the coefficient between academic leadership of administrators (X) and the internal supervision (Y) was significantly positive at the 0.01 level. The Pearson correlation coefficient is .881**.
