Abstract

This research article aims to (1) study the conditions of student council activity administration at Ban Cha-uat School, under the Office of the Primary Educational Service Area of Nakhon Si Thammarat Area 3, (2) study the process of student council activity administration in order to develop the desired characteristics of students at Ban Cha-uat School, and (3) present and evaluate the process of student council activity administration in order to develop the desired characteristics of students at Ban Cha-uat School. This study is qualitative research. The research population is 160 school administrators, teachers, students, and parents involved in the administration of student council activities at Ban Cha-uat School. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with 15 relevant sample groups, 5 in-depth information providers, and group discussions with 7 experts. Data was analyzed inductively. The research results found that Conditions of administration of student council activities at Ban Cha-uat School There are elements and results of operations as follows: 1) Planning of student council activities lacks participation from all parties involved. 2) Organization of student council activity position structure does not clearly define roles and responsibilities appropriate to abilities. 3) Directing student council activities, 4) coordinating student council activities, 5) controlling and managing student council activities is the main duty of the student council advisor. Student council activity management process to develop the desired characteristics of students at Ban Cha-uat School Carry out a total of 5 steps, with every step carried out together using 8 desirable characteristics, consisting of 1) Work planning should involve participation from all parties involved, 2) Work position structure should define clear, appropriate roles and responsibilities, with ability, 3) Ordering should meet with all parties involved to carry out the work. 4) Coordination should create a network for operations both inside and outside the educational institution. 5) Controlling work management should have a comprehensive and effective management plan, continuous supervision and monitoring. Experts have inspected the administration of student council activities, it was found that in the group discussion, experts agreed that is appropriate, there is a possibility and is useful and can be used.
