The Guideline in Academic Administration toward Excellence School under The Secondary Educational Service Office Trang Krabi

Abstract

This article aimed (1) to study the conditions of academic administration in educational institutions, (2) to study guidelines for academic administration towards excellence in educational institutions, and (3) to present and evaluate academic administration guidelines for educational institution excellence under the Secondary Educational Service Office Trang Krabi. This research studied the condition by conducting in-depth interviews with 15 people, drafting guidelines for interviewing 5 experts, and group discussions with 7 experts. The results of the study found that (1) the overall academic administration condition of educational institutions has the scope of academic administration according to the juristic person structure. 1) Development of school curriculum, there is development and improvement of the curriculum, 2) Teaching and learning arrangements in educational institutions. Not proactive in all learning subjects, 3) Measurement, analysis and knowledge management. Content is not covered in all learning groups, 4) Educational supervision, Does not follow the academic calendar, 5) Development of internal quality assurance systems and educational standards. There is a quality assurance system within the educational institution, but there is a lack of participation from all parties. (2) Guidelines for academic administration towards excellence in educational institutions. The scope of academic administration consists of 1) Developing educational institution curricula, 2) Organizing teaching and learning in educational institutions, 3) Measurement, analysis, and knowledge management, 4) Educational supervision, 5) Development of internal quality assurance systems and educational standards and academic administration towards excellence, consisting of 1) Leadership of academic administrators, 2) Academic strategy, 3) Management, 4) Setting up the atmosphere Environment and learning resources, 5) Student quality, each step must include a meeting, planning, operations, monitoring, evaluation, improvement, and development. (3) The results of the presentation and evaluation of academic administration guidelines for excellence in educational institutions found that in the group discussion, everyone agreed unanimously. That is appropriate, there is a possibility and is useful and can be used.
