General Management Group Administration with Quality Cycle of Thungsong School under The Secondary Educational Service Area Office Nakhon Si Thammarat

Abstract

This research aimed to (1) study the general administration of Thung Song School under the Office of the Secondary Education Service Area, Nakhon Si Thammarat, (2) study the general administration of Thung Song School with the quality cycle, and (3) present and evaluate the general administration of Thung Song School with the quality cycle. This study is qualitative research with the following steps: 1) Studying the administration situation using in-depth interviews with 15 key informants using a semi-structured interview form; 2) Studying the guidelines using in-depth interviews with 5 key informants using a structured interview form; and 3) Presenting the guidelines using focus group discussions using the focus group evaluation form with 7 key informants. Data were analyzed using inductive method. The results of the research found that the general administration of Thung Song School under the Office of the Secondary Education Service Area, Nakhon Si Thammarat, consists of 4 work groups: 1) Office group; 2) Public relations and journal group; 3) Building, grounds and landscape management group; and 4) Service group, which has a workload that is not related to the number of responsible persons and has budget and service limitations. 2) The general administration group management guidelines with the quality cycle of Thungsong School consist of 4 groups as follows: 1) Office group, 2) Public relations and journal group, 3) Building and landscape management group, and 4) Service group, using the quality cycle management guidelines (PDCA) including 1) Planning (P = Plan), 2) Execution of the plan (D = Do), 3) Inspection (C = Check), and 4) Improvement (A = Act). Presentation and evaluation of the general administration group management guidelines with a quality cycle of Thungsong School. All experts in the focus group agreed that it was possible, appropriate and beneficial.
