Relationship between Academic Leadership of Administrators and Effectiveness of Schools under Khon Kaen Secondary Educational Service Area Office

This research aims to study (1) the level of academic leadership of school administrators under the Khon Kaen Secondary Educational Service Area Office, (2) the effectiveness of schools under the Khon Kaen Secondary Educational Service Area Office, and (3) the relationship between the academic leadership of school administrators and the effectiveness of schools under the Khon Kaen Secondary Educational Service Area Office. The sample used in this research includes school administrators and teachers under the Khon Kaen Secondary Educational Service Area Office for the academic year 2023, comprising 20 school administrators and 338 teachers. The sample size was determined by calculating the proportion between the sample group and the population from a table, using the sample size formula from Taro Yamane and employing stratified random sampling based on school size and simple random sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire regarding the status of the respondents, structured as a checklist including position and work experience related to the academic leadership of school administrators under the Khon Kaen Secondary Educational Service Area Office. The questionnaire utilized a 5-point Likert scale with a reliability coefficient of 0.97. The statistical methods used for data analysis included percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The researcher conducted a correlation analysis by calculating the Pearson correlation coefficient. The study results indicated that 1) the analysis of opinions regarding the academic leadership of administrators was overall at a high level, 2) the analysis of the effectiveness of schools was also overall at a high level, and 3) the analysis of the relationship between the academic leadership of school administrators and the effectiveness of schools showed a high correlation overall, with statistical significance at the 0.01 level.
