People Satisfaction toward The Management of Solid Waste for Nakhon Si Thammarat City Municipalitymuang District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province

Abstract

The objectives of study were to (1) study the level of people satisfaction the management of solid waste for Nakhon si thammarat city municipality, (2) compare the satisfaction management for solid waste of Nakhon si thammarat city municipality according to personal factors, and (3) study the relationship between knowledge about solid waste with the satisfaction management of solid waste for Nakhon si thammarat city municipality. The sample group used in the study was 400 people in Nakhon Si Thammarat Municipality, Mueang District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. The research instrument was a questionnaire. The statistics used for data analysis included percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, analysis of variance (One-Way-ANOVA) and Pearson's product moment correlation coefficient. The result of the study indicated that people satisfaction toward the management were at much level. The hypothesis testing revealed the difference in sex, age, education, income, and length of time living in the area had caused no difference in the satisfaction. However, the difference in the domicile of living in the area had caused the difference in satisfaction. And the knowledge about solid waste of people had relations with the satisfaction management of solid waste in Nakhon Si Thammarat city municipality.
