Abstract

This research aims (1) to study the problems and obstacles in developing an efficient process for registering occupational safety officers to create satisfaction with the concept of Total Quality Service (TQM) in the area of responsibility of the Office of Welfare and Labor Protection, Bangkok Area 5, (2) to determine guidelines for improving and correcting the development of an efficient process for registering occupational safety officers to create satisfaction with the concept of Total Quality Service (TQM) in the area of responsibility of the Office of Welfare and Labor Protection, Bangkok Area 5, and (3) to monitor the results of improving and correcting the development of an efficient work process for registering occupational safety officers to create satisfaction with the concept of Total Quality Service (TQM) in the area of responsibility of the Bangkok Labor Protection and Welfare Office, Area 5. This study is qualitative research. The data collection tool is an in-depth interview. The data analysis method is a data triangulation method. The researcher applies the process of creating TQM (Total Quality Management) in the research. The results of the study found that: 1) in terms of problems and obstacles, it was found that the office lacked a database system, focused on document preparation in the form of documents, which wasted resources and space in the office. In addition, searching for registration information was difficult. Documents were often lost and time wasted in document preparation. 2) In terms of guidelines for improvement and correction, it was found that after the establishment of the occupational safety officer registration database, workers worked more conveniently and quickly. The registration information was stored systematically. The information was correct and complete, making it easy to search for information. It reduced working time. 3) The follow-up of the results from the improvement and correction found that service providers and service recipients were more satisfied after the establishment of the occupational safety officer registration database system.
