Loy Krathong Burn Candles Play with Fire New Normal the Provision of Public Services of Sukhothai Provincial Administrative Organization

Abstract

This article aimed (1) to study value of the Loy Krathong tradition, burn candles, play with fire in new normal, (2) to study efficiency of public service provision during the traditional Loy Krathong festival, burn candles, play with fire in new normal, and (3) to study relationship of factors that affect it, continuing the efficiency of public services during the Loi Krathong tradition, burning candles, playing with fire, new normal of the Sukhothai Provincial Administrative Organization, the sample group used in the research included citizens and tourists, both Thai and foreigners, who visit the Loi Krathong festival burn candles and play with fire for the year 2023, there were 400 people, the research tools were questionnaires, statistics used in data analysis were averaging, standard deviation analysis of relationship between variables using the correlation coefficient multiple regression test and test research hypotheses. The results of study found that value of the Loi Krathong tradition, overall it is at high level, the side with the highest average is belief aspect, efficiency of public service provision during the traditional Loi Krathong festival, burning candles and playing with fire in new normal, overall it is at high level, the side with the highest average is Infrastructure development, relationship factors and values of Loi Krathong tradition environmental conservation In area of continuation and preservation of cultural traditions, economic and social unity aspect and beliefs, it affects the efficiency of public services during the Loi Krathong tradition, candle burning, fire play, new normal of the Sukhothai Provincial Administrative Organization, the prediction equation or predictive power (R²=.988) is 98.80%, with statistical significance .01.
