The Culture and Atmosphere of the Organization Influences the Management of the Workers under the Circumstances Restlessness in Southern Border Provinces Case Study in Muang District Narathiwat Province

Abstract

This research has the objective to 1. Study the motivation of employees in management under the unrest situation in the area. 2. Study the relationship between culture and organizational atmosphere that affect the work performance under the unrest situation in the area. The sample group consisted of 106 people. Data were collected from a questionnaire with personnel working at the government center, Mueang District, Narathiwat Province. The study found that the overall motivation of employees in Mueang District, Narathiwat Province was at a high level with an average value of 3.56 and a standard deviation of 0.52. When considering each aspect, it was found that the need to be accepted had the highest average value of 3.57 and a standard deviation of 0.53. The next highest was the need for success and the need for power with an average value of 3.56, a standard deviation of 0.63 and 0.65, respectively. In terms of organizational culture and atmosphere, it was found that the overall level was at a high level with an average value of 3.58 and a standard deviation of 0.62. When considering each aspect, it was found that the aspect with the highest average value was Participation in mission implementation had an average of 3.59 with a standard deviation of 0.69, followed by consistency with an average of 3.58 with a standard deviation of 0.60, and adaptability with an average of 3.56 with a standard deviation of 0.66. From the study and analysis of the overall organizational atmosphere data, it was at a high level with an average of 3.58 with a standard deviation of 0.42. When considering each aspect, it was found that the aspect with the highest average was support with an average of 3.65 with a standard deviation of 0.73, followed by organizational conflict with an average of 3.61 with a standard deviation of 0.66, and organizational structure with an average of 3.58 with a standard deviation of 0.71.
