Creative process of the local culture, Chonburi : Eang –gor yoottanari

Abstract

The Performance ‘Eang –Gor Yuthanaree’, the new work for study directing and choreography of the adapted of Panasnikom district’s ‘ Eang-Gor’ ritual performance along with the traditional Thai chorography. The Performance is performed by female dancers only. The Choreography is combined with Eang- Gor’s dance movement principle, ‘Tee mai’ (hitting sticks) and Thai classical dance movement. Eang-Gor unique of movement, ‘Ten Eang- Gor’ (Eang-Gor dance steps) is stills used. The new using stick as a weapon in Eang-Gor dance is choreographed. The military parade pattern form ‘Khon’ performance are using for created a new choreograph in performance.
