This research paper was from creative research, The Costume Design under the Concept of Cubism for Kan Ma Yuean Khong Ying Cha Ra. The objective of the research were to examine costume design and construction from the Cubism. The methodology was employed by qualitative research and creative production. Kan Ma Yuean Khong Ying Cha Ra, which was adapted from the original western dramatic literature, The Visit and directed by Artri Vanichtrakul. The findings reveal that the Cubism is new beauty which reconstructs visual and perspective. The Characters were separated into 4 groups for design process; the visitors, the receptors, the guests and the decision makers. The costume design was inspired from Cubism’ s elements such as passage, collage and inner expression which were determined the design concept to construct the costume by New Look. The key tone of costume design was blue; therefore, the costume sewing techniques were designed to build apparently characters which relation, status and class in the story. These approaches are the directions to deliver a message of the plays from costumes design that projects the grotesque and untruth of Gulen city; in addition, the protagonist was clearly portrayed on stage spectacle.
