CURRICULUM ASSESSMENT OF MUSIC MAJOR OF SRINAKHARINWIROT UNIVERSITY PRASARNMIT DEMONSTRATION SCHOOL (SECONDARY) USING CIPP MODEL

Abstract

This research aims to assess the curriculum of music major of Srinakharinwirot University Prasarnmit Demonstration School (Secondary) context, input, process, impact and effectiveness, using CIPP model. The research instrument was questionnaire for learners, administrators, teachers, parents and students majoring in music. The data analysis was used percentage (%), mean (X), standard deviation (S.D.) and content analysis (Content Analysis). The results showed that 1.)The course of music major of
Srinakharinwirot University Prasarnmit Demonstration School (Secondary) was at a high level. When considered individually, it was found that the context aspect was very appropriate, the mean of 2.40, and the input factors were appropriate at a high level, the mean of 2.37.The process aspect was appropriate at a high level, the mean of 2.40. The yield was appropriate at a high level, the mean of 2.51. The impact was appropriate at a high level 2.) The academic achievement summary of graduated high school students in music major of Academic Year 2019 was a 6-semester point average (GPAX) as follows. There were 14 students whose score was between 3.00-4.00. There were 6 students who got the score between 2.00-2.99. But only 2 students whose score was between 1.00-1.99. 3.) For studying in higher education institutions, students continued the same major were 22.There were 18 students who studied in accordance with majors, representing 81.24 percent but there were 4 students studied other fields, representing 18.18%. 19 students were able to attend the public universities, representing 86.36%. One student studied at a private university, representing 4.17% and one student studied at an open university as 4.55%
