Abstract

This article aims to present the creative work of sound mixing and mixing process of 3 musical compositions including 1) Symphonic Barge 2) Siam Monarchy 3) Soul of Imagination. These compositions are intended to be used to enhancing the atmospheric at the Ancient City: Samut Prakan Province. These 3 songs integrate traditional Thai, Chinese and Indian instruments with Western musical instruments. The creator has studied the key elements of sound mixing by gathering information from recognized and credible sources, focusing on four main aspects: sound balance (Balance), sound placement (Placement), sound clarity (Clarity), and sound mixing techniques (Mixing Techniques). Then begin the mixing process by following the steps outlined to achieve a finished mix.

Through this study, the creator gained new knowledge in sound mixing, which was applied to all three compositions. This includes techniques such as using two compressors in series or grouping instrument tracks and inserting audio processors to create a more harmonious sound. As a result, the creative sound mixing work achieved the intended objectives.
