Abstract

          This study aims to study 1) to study the traditions of Sandonta of Bantawarnprai, Compra district, Surin province. 2) to study the ways of transferring the knowledge of Sandonta ritual to the students in 4-6 primary school. A survey study is using the qualitative education process,  defining who will provide the information in the study by means of a specific selection, only those who provide key information (Key Informants) : 1) the knowledge of the five Sandonta traditions as a teacher, clergyman, or other person who has knowledge of the Sandonta tradition. 2) Leaders in the ritual of 5 and 3 persons 3) Participants in the ritual were 20 members of the family. People in the village and other dignitaries who participate in the ritual traditions of Sandonta which respect the same relative ghost. The tools used in fieldwork include interviews, notes, focus group discussions, and reading books on Ngai Sandonta (Khmer Thais).
