The Application of Buddhadhamma Principles for the Management of Surin Organic Agricultural Cooperative Ltd

Abstract

             The purpose of this research were: 1) to study the conditions, problems, and obstacles in the Management of Surin Organic Agricultural Cooperative LTD, 2) to study the Buddhadhamma for the management in Theravada Buddhism, and 3) to apply the Buddhadhamma in the Management of Surin Organic Agricultural Cooperative LTD. This thesis deployed the qualitative research methodology by field studying and Tipitaka and academic documents where the data were collected from in-depth interviews. Finally, to present the analytic descriptive.
             The research result found that:
             1. The management of conditions and problems of administration of Surin Organic Agricultural Cooperative Ltd. It consists of 1) management problem problems and problems and obstacles, 2) problems and obstacles in the business operations of the cooperative, and 3) problems and obstacles in the personnel of the cooperative.
             2. The Buddhadhamma in Theravada Buddhism consisted of the Buddhadhamma for self-training namely: 1) Pañca-sila (Five precepts),  2) Papanika-dhamma (qualities of successful businessman), 3) Samparayikatthu-savattanika-dhamma (virtues conducive to benefits in the future). The Buddhadhamma for personal management namely: 1) Brahmavihara (four holy abiding), 2) Sappurisa-dhamma (qualities of a good man) 3) Sagahavatthu (four of sympathy), and the Buddhadhamma for work management namely: 1) Iddhipada (four of path of accomplishment), 2) Dasabidh-rajadhamma (ten of virtues of the king), 3) Saraniyadhamma (six of states of conciliation).
             3. The results of the application of the Buddhadhamma in the management of Surin Organic Agricultural Cooperative LTD found that the administration of Surin Organic Agriculture Cooperative Co., Ltd. can apply the aforementioned Buddhadhamma principles very well in its management, people management, and management.
